YOURE IN. WELCOME TO ULTRATRAX ANN ARBOR.
On June 5, 2027, youll take on a full day of movement, challenge, and time on the trails at Mt. Brighton.
For the first time, UltraTrax is heading to Michigan. This is one of our more accessible mountain courses, combining open, rolling terrain with just enough elevation to keep things interesting. The first half of the loop moves across the resorts former golf course, where wide grassy trails wind through fields and seasonal wildflowers. From there, the course heads back toward the lodge before taking on Mt. Brighton itself for a taste of climbing and a rewarding finish.
Whether youre here to walk 7 miles or push all the way to 28, the challenge is yours to define.

Complete your goal within the 10-hour event window. Want another layer of challenge? Take it on with a 10, 20, or 35 lb. ruck or weighted vest.
The course will be clearly marked from start to finish, with well-stocked aid stations positioned along the route to keep you fueled and moving.
TREK DAY
Saturday, June 5, 2027
Mt. Brighton, Brighton, MI
The start line is open between 7am-10am and is divided into corrals based on distance. 28 milers get started at 7am, 21 milers at 7:45am, 14 milers at 8:30am, and 7 milers at 9:15am.
UltraTrax is not a race, but it is a timed endurance event. Youll have up to 10 hours to complete your chosen distance.
Move at your pace. Take breaks when you need them. Then keep going.
BIB PICKUP
Your bib may be mailed to you in advance or picked up on event morning.
Participants registering after May 10, 2027 must pick up their bib in person.
TAKING ON THE RUCK CHALLENGE?
If you registered for a weighted division, youll need to bring your own ruck, backpack, or weighted vest.
Your pack will be weighed before you begin. Everything in the pack counts toward your required weight except perishable food and drinks.
WHATS WAITING AT THE FINISH
Finishers will receive:
* A custom UltraTrax finisher medal (Grey Wolf Medal for 28 and 21 milers, Trail Wolf Medal for 14 and 7 milers)
* UltraTrax event T-shirt
* UltraTrax patch
* Additional swag for weighted divisions
After your trek, stick around and enjoy the Base Camp atmosphere at Mt. Brighton. Recover, refuel, and celebrate the miles with other participants.
Friends and family are welcome to join you at Base Camp.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT ANN ARBOR
_An Accessible Mountain Experience_
The first half of the course winds through the resorts former golf course on wide grassy trails surrounded by open terrain and wildflowers. From there, youll make your way back toward the lodge and onto Mt. Brighton itself. The climbs add just enough elevation to break up the miles without the sustained ascents found at some of our more demanding mountain venues.
_A Challenge You Choose_
There is no single definition of success at UltraTrax. Walk your first 7 miles, chase 28, or add weight and see what you can carry.
_Support Along the Way_
Expect a well-marked course, stocked aid stations, event staff, and a community of people working toward their own goals alongside you.
