With early packet pickup available at Backyard Tap on the evening of August 16th, there’s no reason to miss out on this fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow running enthusiasts and support a new local non-profit partner. Organiser's Description
With over 300 runners expected and even more spectators, this will be an amazing year for the 42nd Valley 5000, hosted by Sweetheart City Racing. This run/walk will begin in Mehaffey Park on August 17, 2024 at 8:00am. We are going to have a new Non-Profit Partner for the Valley 5000. Stayed tuned for more info. It is another local non-profit we are excited to partner with. The 1-mile starts at 8am, and the 5K starts at 9:00am for Elites, and 9:05am for the Citizens race. If you can run a 5K, men in 24 min or less, and women 26 min or less, sign up for the elite wave! Sign up to run both the 1-mile and 5K, or just one. Either way, you are guaranteed to have an amazing time!
Pre-Race Packet Pickup: Early packet pickup will be at Backyard Tap, Friday, August 16th, 5:30-6:30pm. Please DO NOT ARRIVE EARLY. We will be setting up and getting ready to start at 5:30pm. You can also pick up your packets 45 min prior to your race start time at MeHaffey Park on Aug 17th.
