The Vermont Swimrun Challenge takes you off the pavement and into some of Vermonts most beautiful lake and forest country. Swim across clear lakes, run wooded trails, scramble along rocky shorelines, and experience the landscape in a way you simply cant from a road.
Choose your own adventure with three distances designed for everyone from first-time swimrunners to experienced endurance athletes:
DISCOVER 10K
4 swims 4 runs
Your introduction to swimrun. A shorter, approachable course that lets you experience the unique rhythm of swimming and running without committing to an all-day adventure.
ADVENTURE 20K
6 swims 6 runs
Ready to go farther? The Adventure course takes you deeper into the landscape, with more distance, more trails, and more time in the water.
EPIC 36K
~15 swims ~15 runs up to 4 lakes
The full Vermont Swimrun experience. A long, challenging journey connecting multiple lakes and trails with roughly 15 transitions between swimming and running. This is the course for those looking to test their endurance and see just how far they can go.
