Join us for the vibrant VIRR Turkey Trot on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in the picturesque Kula, Maui! This festive event kicks off at 7:00 AM with the run starting at 7:30 AM at Keokea Park, located at 218 Lower Kula Rd. Experience the joy of community and fitness with a delightful 5K run/walk that takes participants along Thompson Road and back to the park.
Dress up in your silliest Thanksgiving costume for a chance to win awards for the top three funniest outfits! As part of the spirit of giving, we encourage all participants to bring non-perishable food donations for Maui's Food Bank or make a monetary contribution. While this yearโs event has reached its runner capacity, we invite everyone to join us next year for this cherished holiday tradition. Celebrate Thanksgiving in style and support a great causeโmahalo!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT OF OUR 2025 TURKEY TROT! HOWEVER, DUE TO THE LOCATION OF THE RACE AND FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL PARTICIPANTS WE HAVE REACHED THE LIMIT ON RUNNERS AND WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT ADDITIONAL REGISTRATIONS FOR THIS YEAR. PLEASE JOIN US NEXT YEAR!
Every Thanksgiving VIRR hosts the Turkey Trot run at Upcountry Maui, a perfect way to spend your early morning before celebrating Thanksgiving with your family or friends. VIRR club members run for free! (Club member discount will be automatically applied during checkout). We will meet at 7:00am and the run starts at 7:30am.
The Turkey Trot will be held at Keokea Park located at 218 Lower Kula Rd. in Kula. The route will be a 5K run/walk starting at Keokea Park to the end of Thompson Road and back to the park.
