Organiser's Description
The Visser Family YMCA Buck Creek Run, presented by North Central Area Credit Union, is part of the City of Grandville 4th of July celebrations. Buck Creek Run began in 1974 as a way to add a healthy event to the 4th of July events and get people active. The course winds around the neighborhoods of Grandville and ends at the Grandville Middle School. The Buck Creek Run proceeds provide scholarships for the Visser Family YMCA Impact After School Program for Grandville, Jenison and Hudsonville middle-school students and other programs to support those that may not otherwise be able to participate.

The 5K is a loop course that starts on Wilson Avenue at Oakestown Intermediate School, runs through neighborhoods and returns to finish on the school track. Children 6 years and above that have been training for a 5K are welcome to participate! Not a runner? Buck Creek Run has walkers too. -
Kid's Dash

The Kid's Fun Run starts on the infield of the football field with 25, 50 and 100 yard dashes for ages 2 to 7. Older kids are welcome to participate in the 100 yard dash as well. -
Virtual 5K Run or Walk

Join us for the Virtual Run and participate in a 5K or 10K as your schedule permits, on any course of your choosing. Run, walk around the neighborhood or on a treadmill anytime between June 15 and June 28. It's a fun way to get the family involved! Every Virtual event participant will receive a finisher medal in the mail.
