The Waco Sports Corporate Cup, presented by Ascension Providence, is a one-of-a-kind adult field day where teams compete for the ultimate cup! This event is more than just a test of athletic competition; it's an opportunity to connect, build camaraderie, and earn points for your organization!

The Corporate Cup includes a Charity Challenge, blending friendly competition with community impact by supporting local charities and Waco Sports initiatives.

    Participants per Division: D1: Limited to 10 Participants D2: Limited to 10 Participants D3: Limited to10 Participants *no gender requirements* Event Format Eight age divisions (12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+). Point System There will be three ways to earn points for your organization in this event. Team Participation The first is through team participation, in which you will receive 25 points if you meet the minimum requirement of 4 participants. Teams that meet the maximum number of 10 participants will receive 100 points. Teams that do not meet the maximum participation number will receive the minimum point amount. Team Points 75 points will be awarded to the 1st place team, 65 points will be awarded to the 2nd place team, and points will move down incrementally by 10 until the 8th place team has been awarded 30 points. All teams that finish below 8th place will be awarded 10 points. Teams will also be awarded points based on all 10 participants' times. Only the 10 participants registered for your team will count toward points.   • Three-Point Contest

    Division 2 will compete on April 23rd Divisions 1 & 3 will compete on April 24th Three-Point Contest 4 Participants (Minimum 1 Female) Event Format Each shooter will take five shots from five identified positions (both corners, both wings, and top of the key) around the 3-point line. The clock will start on the shooters first release. Teams will use one ball throughout competition and will rebound and pass for one another. All three (3) employees not shooting may assist in passing and rebounding for their teammate. A shooter must have both feet behind the 3-point line when he/she releases the ball. Total score for each of the 4 employees will be added to the team total that will be ranked among other competing teams in their division. The total time each team takes to complete all shots will be used for any tiebreakers, with the advantage going to the team completing the shots in the least amount of time. *There is a hard stop at the 5-minute mark* Equipment Each team is to provide their own ball to use for the contest. Women may use a smaller/female sized ball for competition. Point System Teams will be awarded the number of points earned during the competition and ranked to determine place for the three-point contest. 100 points will be awarded to the 1st place team, 90 points will be awarded to the 2nd place team and 70 points will awarded to the 3rd place team and move down incrementally by 10 until the 6th place team has been awarded 40 points. All teams that finish below 6th place will also be awarded 10 points.
  • Pickleball Tournament

    2 Participants (1 Male & 1 Female) Event Format The tournament will be a round robin, single-elimination bracket held at Waco Regional Tennis & Fitness Center. Each match will be 8 minutes, and once time is reached, the team with the higher score will advance. Games are played to 11 points and teams must win by 2 points. The tournament will follow the basic rules of pickleball from the International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association. Teams will provided their own paddles, balls will be provided. Equipment Standard pickleball paddle and ball (USAPA approved) Point System 100 points will be awarded to the 1st place team; 90 points will be awarded to the 2nd place team. The 3rd/4th place teams who lose the semi-final games will each be awarded 75 points and teams who finish 5th 8th and lose in the quarterfinals will be awarded 45 points. All other teams who lose prior to the quarterfinals will earn at least 10 points.

Points will be awarded based on the ring in which your shots come to rest. The on-deck team will get an opportunity to practice chipping balls on a different part of the field. Competitors will provide their own golf clubs. Teams will take turns pitching corn bags at the cornhole board until a team reaches the score of 21 or whoever is in the lead after the per game time limit. Points are kept according to cancellation scoring. In cancellation scoring, the points of one team cancel out the points of their opponent. Using this method, only one team can score in each frame. Teams will take turns throwing frisbees at the target (Kan Jam goals) until a team reaches the score of 21 or whoever is in the lead after the per game time limit. Teams will take turns throwing, with one team member being a thrower while the other teammate is a deflector who has the chance to earn 1 point for the team if redirected in the goal. Goals and frisbee throws will be 35 feet away and a frisbee that enters the top of the goal is worth 3 points, a frisbee that hits the goal is worth 2 points, and a frisbee slapped or deflected in by the deflector is worth 1 point. If a frisbee is thrown into the goals slot, that team automatically wins the match. Teams must score exactly 21 points to win. Teams will receive a scoring penalty based on the number of points scored on that throw. (For example, if you have 20 points and score 2 instead of 1, your score would be reduced to 18. If you have 19 points and score 3 instead of 1, your score would be reduced to 16.) Teams get 2 throws each (one per teammate) then rotate to allow the opposing team to do the same.Teams must score exactly 21 points to win. Teams will receive a scoring penalty based on the number of points scored on that throw. (For example, if you have 20 points and score 2 instead of 1, your score would be reduced to 18. Participants must stay on their feet and not sit, kneel, or lie down. The rope must not wrap around any participant.     Participants per Division: D1: 4, minimum of 1 female D2: 4, minimum of 1 female D3: 4, minimum of 1 female Event Format 4 players (1 of whom must be female) will start each game. Matches are best-of-3 and the tournament is single elimination. Each game will have a time limit after which the team with the most players still on the court will win. Catching a ball does allow a team member to be sub/added back in the game. If teams have the same number of players then the game will go into sudden death where the first team to get an opposing player out will win. The object of the game is to eliminate all opposing players by getting them OUT. This may be done by hitting an opposing player with a LIVE thrown ball below the shoulders or by catching a LIVE ball thrown by your opponent before it touches the ground. You are NOT allowed to walk while you are hula hooping. Scoring will be determined by adding the total of each employees duration/time in which they hula hooped. The longer the time, the better! Equipment Adult hula hoop, 17.05 x 7.99 x 2.99 inches, weights 1.23 kilograms. Point System 100 points will be awarded to the 1st place team, 90 points will be awarded to the 2nd place team and points will move down incrementally by 10 until the 8th place team has been awarded 30 points.
