GRAB YOUR SNEAKERS, LEASH UP YOUR BEST FRIEND AND JOIN US FOR THE INAUGURAL WAGFEST LEASHES AND LACES 2-MILE WALK/RUN ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 2026 AT 2:00PM!
The race will begin and end at Wagfest at Market Station in Albemarle, following the scenic Robert F. Snyder Greenway for a fun, family-friendly 2-mile course. Whether you're a seasoned runner, casual walker or simply looking for a great way to spend the afternoon with your pup, this event is for you! This is a non-timed event.
CHOOSE YOUR DIVISION:
_2-LEGS DIVISION:_ Register yourself and receive an official event T-shirt.
_6-LEGS DIVISION_: Bring your furry pal! Registration includes an official race T-shirt for you and a commemorative bandana for your 4-legged teammate.
After crossing the finish line, stick around and enjoy everything Wagfest has to offer, including pup cups, food vendors, games, live music, shopping and plenty of dog-friendly fun!
**All proceeds benefit the Stanly County Humane Society, helping local animals find the loving homes they deserve.
