Join us for the inspiring Walk In My Shoes 2024 event on Friday, April 5th, in Goulds, Miami-Dade! This uplifting walk is part of a 1,500-mile trek across Florida, starting in Key West, and aims to raise awareness for National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Participants can choose to walk 3 miles or more—every step counts in the fight against child sexual abuse and in supporting survivors on their journey to healing.
Registration kicks off at 11:30 am at the Goulds Church of Christ, with the walk starting at 12:30 pm. We'll embark on a 3-mile route to Walgreens, where walkers can take a refreshing water break. For those looking for a greater challenge, feel free to join us for additional miles! Remember, online registration closes at 4:00 pm on April 4th, but you can still sign up in person at the event. Come be part of this meaningful day, as we walk together to educate our communities and empower survivors!

Come walk with us! Join the Laurens Kids foundation and thousands of walkers across the state for the 2024 Walk in My Shoes 1,500-mile trek across Florida beginning in Key West! Walk for 3 miles or moreevery step counts in the fight to prevent child sexual abuse and help survivors heal.

We'll start registration at the Goulds Church of Christ at 11:30 am on Friday, April 5, 2024, and start walking at 12:30 pm. We'll walk 3 miles to Walgreens where we'll take a water break.
