Participants can choose to walk 3.3 miles or more, making every step count in this vital cause. Registration kicks off at Project HELP at 8:15 AM, followed by the walk starting at 8:45 AM. Enjoy a refreshing water break at Ross before continuing on for those who wish to extend their journey. Join thousands of walkers across the state as we come together during National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month to educate communities and empower survivors. Come walk with us! Join the Laurens Kids foundation and thousands of walkers across the state for the 2024 Walk in My Shoes 1,500-mile trek across Florida beginning in Key West! Walk for 3 miles or moreevery step counts in the fight to prevent child sexual abuse and help survivors heal.
#WHYWEWALK: Together, were walking during the month of April National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month to raise awareness, educate communities, and empower survivors.
We'll start registration at Project HELP at 8:15 am on Wednesday April 10, 2024, and begin walking at 8:45 am. We'll walk 3.3 miles to Ross where we'll take a water break. Those feeling adventurous can continue on with us for even more miles.
