Join us for the inspiring Walk In My Shoes 2024 event on Tuesday, April 16th, in the beautiful city of St. Augustine, St. Johns. This empowering walk is part of a 1,500-mile trek across Florida, organized by the Laurens Kids foundation, to raise awareness and prevent child sexual abuse while supporting survivors. Starting at Flagler College at 8:00 AM, participants will embark on a scenic 2.8-mile journey to Fort Mose, with opportunities to walk even further for those who are up for the challenge.
As we walk together during National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month, every step counts in creating a supportive community. Registration will remain open until 4:00 PM on April 15th, but don’t worry if you miss the online deadline—friends can still register on the day of the event! Come be a part of this meaningful experience, and let’s make a difference together!

Come walk with us! Join the Laurens Kids foundation and thousands of walkers across the state for the 2024 Walk in My Shoes 1,500-mile trek across Florida beginning in Key West! Walk for 3 miles or moreevery step counts in the fight to prevent child sexual abuse and help survivors heal.
#WHYWEWALK: Together, were walking during the month of April National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month to raise awareness, educate communities, and empower survivors.
We'll start registration at Flagler College at 8:00 am on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, and start walking at 8:45 am. We'll walk 2.8 miles to Fort Mose where we'll take a water break. Those feeling adventurous can continue on with us for even more miles. Registration will close online on April 15th at 4:00 pm but you can still bring your friends to register at the walk!
