This important trek will take walkers from the gymnasium located at 2501 Coral Springs Drive to Aston Garden at Parkland Commons. Along the way, enjoy a refreshing water stop to keep your energy up! As a special convenience, participants will receive an Uber code to help them return to the starting point after completing the walk. Join the Laurens Kids foundation and thousands of walkers across the state for the 2025 Walk in My Shoes 1,500-mile trek across Florida. April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month every step counts in the fight to prevent child sexual abuse and help survivors heal.

CLOSEDWe'll start registration outside Coral Springs Gymnasium - North Parking Lot at 9:00 AM on Monday, April 7th, and begin to walk at 10:00 AM. Our walk is 10 miles for the day. We'll plan to take a short water break along the way. Those who wish to finish the walk, we'll continue to Aston Garden at Parkland Commons (5999 N University Dr, Parkland, FL 33067), where we'll end and celebrate. Like in years past, we are partnering with Uber to provide the ability for walkers to drop at any point they wish and ride share their way off of the walk route. Ride Share codes will be provided to walkers at registration. All participants will receive a t-shirt and drawstring backpack at registration.
