For those seeking an extra challenge, there’s the option to continue on a full 17-mile route to Deerfield Beach! Registration kicks off at 8:30 AM, with the walk beginning at 9:30 AM. Plus, don’t worry about getting back; an UBER code will be provided for a free ride back to the starting point. Join thousands of walkers from across the state and make every step count in this vital cause!

Join the Laurens Kids foundation and thousands of walkers across the state for the 2025 Walk in My Shoes 1,500-mile trek across Florida. April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month every step counts in the fight to prevent child sexual abuse and help survivors heal.

We'll start registration at the FTL War Memorial Auditorium at 8:30 AM on Saturday, April 5th, and begin walking at 9:30 AM. Our first walk section is 5 miles, and we'll take a short water break at the Nancy J. Cotterman Center. Those who wish to finish the walk will continue walking to AshBritt Inc. (565 E Hillsboro Blvd, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441) in Deerfield Beach - another 12 miles - where we'll have our final celebration! Like in years past, we are partnering with Uber to provide the ability for walkers to drop at any point they wish and ride share their way off of the walk route. Ride Share codes will be provided to walkers at registration. All participants will receive a t-shirt and drawstring backpack at registration.
