Join the Laurens Kids foundation and thousands of walkers across the state for the 2025 Walk in My Shoes 1,500-mile trek across Florida. April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month every step counts in the fight to prevent child sexual abuse and help survivors heal.

Join us for a 4-mile walk loop beginning and ending at the Childrens Advocacy Center to advocate in our community! Participants can end there, or continue walking another 5 miles to the Florida Department of Transportation's offices (2956 State Correctional Rd., Marianna, FL 32448). Please note, those continuing on to the second walk of the day are responsible for their own transportation following the walk as ride-share options are limited.

We'll start registration at Gulf Coast CAC at 9:00 AM on Monday, April 28th and begin walking at 10:00 AM. Our first walk section is 4 miles, and will loop out and back from the CAC. Those who wish to finish the walk will continue walking to the Florida Department of Transportation's offices outside town (2956 State Correctional Rd, Marianna, FL 32448) another 5 miles - where we'll end the day and celebrate. Please note, for those continuing on to the 2nd walk of the day are responsible for their own transportation following the walk. Ride Share options are limited. All participants will receive a t-shirt and drawstring backpack at registration.
