Join the Laurens Kids foundation and thousands of walkers across the state for the 2025 Walk in My Shoes 1,500-mile trek across Florida. April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month every step counts in the fight to prevent child sexual abuse and help survivors heal.

We'll start registration at the Gulf Coast Kids House Inc. at 8:00 AM on Friday, April 25th, and begin walking at 9:00 AM. Our first walk section is 5 miles, and we'll take a short water break at Sam's Club before moving on to our end point at the Escambia Tax Collectors Office (5045 N Palafox St, Pensacola, FL 32505). Like in years past, we are partnering with Uber to provide the ability for walkers to drop at any point they wish and ride share their way off of the walk route. Ride Share codes will be provided to walkers at registration. All participants will receive a t-shirt and drawstring backpack at registration.
