Join us for the Warriors of Hope Annual 5k Turkey Trot on November 28th, 2024, in Houma, Terrebonne. This exciting event kicks off in Historic downtown Houma at Bayou Terrebonne Distillers, with plenty of parking and indoor bathrooms available. Run or walk the 5k course and snap photos with our Dancing Thanksgiving Turkey along the way! After the race, enjoy food and refreshments before your Thanksgiving feast. Awards will be given to top male and female runners and walkers. Register by October 31st for a guaranteed t-shirt. This fun event supports local cancer patients through Warriors of Hope, so come out and "give" on Thanksgiving!
Organiser's Description
Come wobble and gobble Thanksgiving morning in Historic downtown Houma. We begin this fun 5k at Bayou Terrebonne Distillers. There is plenty of parking and indoor bathrooms at race site. Along the course, you and your friends/family will have photo ops to take with our very own Dancing Thanksgiving Turkey! You'll wrap up with food and refreshments to snack on before your big Thanksgiving feast. Awards will be given for top 3 overall Male and Female runners, top 3 Male and Female walkers. T-shirts guaranteed if registered by Oct. 31st (race day shirts available while supplies last, size and style will vary). Come join us for a very fun event and "give" on Thanksgiving at the same time. All race proceeds go to Warriors of Hope to support their mission in helping local cancer patients!
