Join us for the We ❤️ Teachers 5K in beautiful Charlotte, Mecklenburg, on Saturday, March 14, 2026! This vibrant event is a heartfelt celebration of the dedicated teachers, staff, and administrators of the Queen City. Whether you're a passionate runner, a casual walker, or just there to cheer on your friends and family, there's something for everyone! Participants can enjoy a chip-timed 5K race while soaking up the lively atmosphere filled with music, food, and prizes.
This year, we're excited to introduce new awards, including Most School Spirit for the school with the highest participation and Fastest Teacher for the top male and female educators. Don't miss out on the chance to compete for the Team Champion title, which requires a minimum team size of four, or the Legacy Award for the best parent-child duo time. All participants will receive a T-shirt and a Finisher Medal, making this a memorable experience for all ages. Registration is available on race day via QR code, and our event kicks off with registration and packet pickup from 8:00 AM to 8:55 AM, followed by an opening ceremony and warm-up at 8:45 AM. WE ARE EXCITED TO BRING THE WE RED HEART TEACHERS 5K TO CHARLOTTE! WE CAN'T WAIT TO CELEBRATE THE TEACHERS, STAFF & ADMINISTRATORS OF THE QUEEN CITY!
Educators & the community coming together to run, laugh, dance & appreciate good health. You don't have to run -you can walk, you can watch, you can cheer, you can sponsor and you can volunteer! However you decide to participate, you're going to have fun! For the past 14 years, we have worked with teachers to improve their health and wellness.
Registration is available on race morning via QR code. Credit card or Debit card only. No cash or checks.
The race will be held in beautiful McAlpine Park in Charlotte. If you can't make it, but still want to support the cause, sign up for the Virtual Race.
All 5K participants receive T-shirts & Finisher Medals. T-shirts will be handed out after the race.
