Wendell Foster Half Marathon & 5K

Join us for the sixth annual Wendell Foster Half Marathon & 5K on Saturday, March 22, 2025, in Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky! This exciting event features a flat and fast course, making it perfect for both seasoned runners and newcomers alike. Participants can choose between the challenging 13.1-mile half marathon and the more accessible 3.1-mile 5K. Both races will start and finish at the picturesque Smothers Park, located on the riverfront, where you’ll be greeted by stunning views and the charm of award-winning amenities.

The race promises to be fully supported, with water stations strategically placed along the route and professional timing to ensure accurate results. All finishers will receive a medal, and there’s even prize money for the top competitors in both distances! With a 4-hour course time limit for the half marathon, runners aged 12 and over are encouraged to register and take part in this incredible experience.
