Taking place at the beautiful Musgrove Park and Aquatic Center, participants will tackle a 200-meter outdoor pool swim, followed by a scenic 14.2-mile bike ride (helmets required!), and will finish strong with a 5K (3.1-mile) run/walk.
This inclusive triathlon welcomes athletes of all ages, including youth who are 10 or 11 who can compete on a team, and those who are 12 or older can participate individually or as part of a team. With awards for the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as age group and team awards, there's plenty of excitement and recognition to go around. The Annual White Squirrel Triathlon. Whether you are a seasoned Triathlete or a first timer, this race is a great event for you!
This sprint/beginner triathlon will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at Musgrove Park and Aquatic Center in Olney, Illinois. The event will consist of a 200 meter outdoor pool swim, followed by a 14.2 mile bike (HELMETS REQUIRED), and finishing with a 5K/3.1 mile run/walk.. The event is open to all - from beginners to the most experienced athletes. Youth who will be 10 or 11 by race day may swim, run, or both, on a team. Youth who will be 12 by race day may do any, or all, of the disciplines as an age grouper or as a member of a team

3.1 mile run.
