WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL REGISTRATION SITE FOR OUR WIG OUT FOR ERIN 5K RUN/WALK ON SATURDAY, MARCH 9TH!
THE EVENT WILL BEGIN AT 9AM AT TRINITY EPISCOPAL SCHOOL, located at 3850 Pittaway Drive, Richmond, VA 23235 with on-site registration and bib pick-up beginning at 8:15am. Cost to register is $15. We encourage online registration so we have a feel of how many will be there that day, but there is an option for on-site registration.
POST RACE GATHERING HAS BEEN FINALIZED! Our dear friends at TOAST Winterfield, 3730 Winterfield Rd Ste 100, Midlothian, VA 23113, have graciously opened up their outdoor spaceS for us to gather after post race beginning at 10:30am. There will be food and drink available for purchase. Further, the Waffles on Wheels food truck will be onsite with some yummy offerings.
THE ONLINE SITE TO GET T-SHIRTS WAS SHUT DOWN ON 2/20 to make sure everyone got their pre-ordered t-shirt in the mail in time. Don't worry though, we will have a limited amount of t-shirts on site to purchase and might even have some give-aways!
As most already know, running has been a big part of Erins life. Today, she considers herself to be in the most important and critical race of her life as she battles Stage IV Metastatic Triple Negative Breast Cancer, a disease of which there is currently no cure.
March is Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) Awareness Month and in her perpetual positivity, Erin wishes to celebrate her journey with her tribe of supporters, while raising awareness and funds for this life-limiting disease. THE PURPOSE OF THIS RACE IS TO GATHER AROUND ERIN IN ENCOURAGEMENT AND LOVE, WHILE GIVING BACK TO AN ORGANIZATION, THE TRIPLE NEGATIVE BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION, whose sole purpose is to provide hope to those battling this disease.
The TNBC Foundation has a mission to support and advance research specifically in the area of TNBC, working towards finding better treatment options and, eventually, a cure. This foundation is a credible source, serving as a catalyst for science and patient advocacy, while providing a caring and inclusive community with valuable services for patients and their loved ones.
Once registered, you will have the additional option to donate any chosen amount as a contribution to this cause. ALL DONATION PROCEEDS FROM OUR WIG OUT FOR ERIN EVENT WILL GO DIRECTLY TO THE TNBC FOUNDATION. The race registration fees will go to minimal race expenses and the rest will be designated for a local nonprofit organization of Erins choosing, which will be announced at the event.

Commonwealth Timing is onsite to provide all race needs, including timing, bibs, post race result and more!
