Wildcatter Ultra

Located in the North Texas Hill Country, the Wildcatter Ranch Resort is the site for the Wildcatter Ultra trail race. The trails, designed specifically for this race, wind in and around the ranch. Youll encounter everything from rocks to roots, climbs to descents, flats to winding turns and a cedar canopy to open grassland.
Guests of the Ranch can take advantage of a hands-on experience horseback riding with local Cowboys, clay shooting, ranch tours or settle back in a beautiful pool overlooking a bluff next to the Brazos River.
Work up an appetite on the trails? Weve got you covered. The Wildcatter Steakhouse serves some of the best authentic Texas cuisine around where you can enjoy hand-cut, Mesquite grilled steaks and many local favorites, along with a great selection of Texas beers and wine. 
Just ninety minutes from DFW International Airport and right around the corner from Possum Kingdom Lake, this trail system is one of the best around.
