Runners and walkers of all ages are invited to join in the festivities, with opportunities for age division prizes, raffles, and the coveted finisher medal waiting at the end. But that's not all! Each participant will be rewarded with a scrumptious homemade Sicilian cannolo, making this event a true treat for the senses. With proceeds benefiting the Boys and Girls Club of Southeast Wyoming, this is a fantastic way to support the community while having a blast. Organiser's Description
The 11th annual Will Run for Cannoli 5k is a family fun run/walk and will be held on July 12th at Lions Park in Cheyenne. Participants can expect a fun course, age division prizes, raffles, a finisher medal, and homemade cannoli at the end!!!
The race will begin at 8:00 a.m. near the pavilion by the Children's Village. Participants will run toward the east around Sloans Lake, go through the tunnel under Central Avenue, and then run counter-clockwise around the golf course. Participants will then go through the tunnel again and continue running westerly/counter clockwise around Sloans Lake, ending at the beach. There, each participant will receive a finisher medal and a delicious, homemade, Sicilian cannolo!!
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Southeast Wyoming. Packet pick up will be available beginning July 10 at Foot of the Rockies and at the event on race day. Please note, registration fees are non-refundable.
Registration will be limited to the first 250 registrants. Race day registration will be available unless the race has already reached the 250 person cap.
