As you race along the runway and taxiways, you'll be supporting a meaningful cause—Wings of Mercy East Michigan, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to providing free flights to distant medical centers for those in need. This year, participants can look forward to an upgraded glow-in-the-dark medal and a fresh t-shirt design, along with a new Economy registration option for those who prefer to skip the shirt. Plus, the overall male and female winners of the 5K run/walk and competitive walk will be rewarded with a thrilling free airplane ride! Join us for this unique event and help make a difference while having a blast!
Organiser's Description
Wings of Mercy East Michigan, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that coordinates free flights to distant medical centers for individuals with limited financial resources. Using general aviation aircraft and volunteer pilots, they serve recipients on flights within approximately 600 miles of Eastern Michigan.
