Join us for the Winter 2025 Advanced Youth Run Training in Apex, organized by Triangle Run Smart Training in collaboration with Pace Yourself Run Company and The Running PTs. This 8-week program is perfect for kids aged 10-15 with prior running experience who can run 2 miles non-stop. Led by Coach Mary Petersen, the class aims to improve speed and overall conditioning in a fun and healthy environment. The program runs from January 7th to February 25th, with sessions on Tuesdays at Apex Nature Park in Holly Springs, Wake. Registration is limited to 30 participants and includes a training shirt, coached workouts, a training plan, and more. WINTER 2025 ADVANCED YOUTH RUN TRAINING IN APEX is brought to you by TRIANGLE RUN SMART TRAINING, PRESENTED BY PACE YOURSELF RUN COMPANY AND THE RUNNING PTS.
Class is 8 WEEKS LONG, meeting once per week, and is geared toward KIDS AGED 10-15 YEARS OLD WHO HAVE PRIOR RUNNING EXPERIENCE AND ARE CAPABLE OF RUNNING 2 MILES NON-STOP (AT ANY PACE). PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS AN ADVANCED CLASS AND NOT APPROPRIATE FOR BEGINNER RUNNERS. The goal of the class is to have fun, get healthy, and work on running speed and overall conditioning. Class will be capped at 30 registrants.
COST OF THE CLASS IS $75. No refund and no class credit if you drop out of the class after registering.
COST INCLUDES: 8 weeks of 1 coached workout per week, a season training plan with suggested workouts on non-class days as well, 20% off discount at Pace Yourself Run Company (some restrictions apply), educational information coordinated by The Running PTs, and a training shirt.
