Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the 10th Annual WLMS Get Fit 5K, happening on Saturday, May 4th, 2024, at the beautiful campus of West Lincoln Middle School in Lincolnton, Lincoln! This exciting event kicks off at 8:00 AM and aims to promote health and wellness while raising funds to combat obesity among students, staff, and the community. Participants can look forward to a scenic 5K route that showcases the picturesque grounds of both West Lincoln Middle and High Schools, including a portion of the cross-country trail.

In addition to the main 5K race, there’s a fun twist with the 1-Mile Fun Walk/Run themed "Star Wars Day: May the Course Be With You." Participants are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite Star Wars characters and will receive a special goodie bag! Awards will be presented for the best costumes, making this a perfect event for families and friends to enjoy together.
