Registration opens at 7:30 AM in the Biergarten at Mountain Creek's Red Tail Lodge, with the lift starting at 8:00 AM to whisk participants to the top of the mountain. Don’t miss out on the chance to register by December 31, 2024, for the early discount fee of just $20! After the New Year, the registration fee will be $25. So, gear up, bring your own snowshoes, and get ready for an unforgettable winter experience!

Get out your snowshoes and join the Vernon Township Board of Recreation at Mountain Creek on January 25, 2025 to take on the mountain (Bad Weather Alternate Date January 26, 2025)!
Choose your challenge a 5k tromp across the ridge of the Mountain or for a little less of an excursion you can take the final mile option - either will spark the best of your winter skills!
Runners, walkers or those trying out snowshoes for the first time _ALL ARE WELCOME!_
Ride the cab up to the top of the mountain and then get your snowshoes on!
Register by 12/31/2024 to get the early discount base registration fee of $20. After we ring in the new year, registration is $25. BYOS (bring your own shoes).
Registration and check in at 7:30am in the Biergarten at Mountain Creek's Red Tail Lodge. The lift will take people up the mountain starting at 8:00am. The race begins at 9:00am.

Dust off your snowshoes and get ready to charge the mountain at the Vernon Snowshoe Invasion! That's right! We are bringing the Invasion back! Join the Vernon Township Board of Recreation at Mountain Creek on Saturday, January 25, 2025 for this fun filled snow activity and challenge the best of your winter skills! Ride the cab up to the top of the mountain and then choose to tromp out a 5k or if the ridge is a bit too much, you can choose to go right to the last downhill mile. Either one is sure to keep you warm on even the chilliest of days! Visit www.vernontwp.com for more information or paper registrations.
