YMCA of Greater Rochester & UR Medicine Present: Runnin' of the Green

Get ready to kick off the racing season with the 27th annual Runnin' of the Green, taking place from March 15 to March 22, 2025, in the vibrant city of Rochester, Monroe. This exciting event begins on March 15 at 9:30 AM at Mercantile on Main, where participants will race down Main Street, fueled by the sounds of bagpipes and the promise of delicious green donuts awaiting them at the finish line. The highlight of the event is the exhilarating 5-mile out-and-back course along the scenic Genesee River, perfect for both seasoned runners and newcomers alike.

Join in the fun, whether you choose to run in person or virtually, as you celebrate the arrival of spring with your fellow runners. All registrants will receive a coveted Runnin' of the Green race medal, a stylish cotton long sleeve shirt (be sure to sign up by February 25 to guarantee your size), and access to themed post-race snacks and beverages, including green donuts, apples, beer, and cider. The festivities continue with a complimentary post-race party featuring live music, games, and more at The Mercantile, along with a convenient bag drop to enhance your experience.
