Get ready for a vibrant and exhilarating day at the Yost Duneland Elementary Color Run 2025! Join us on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 10 AM to 3 PM at Sunset Hill in Valparaiso, Porter, for an unforgettable celebration of community and fun. This year, we’re thrilled to rally all the elementary school PTAs of the Duneland District, making it a fantastic opportunity to show your Trojan spirit!
The day will kick off with gates opening at 10 AM, followed by an exciting lineup of races starting at 11 AM. From the Principal and SRO Race to the thrilling races for grades K-4, there’s something for everyone! Enjoy bounce houses, face painting, delicious food trucks, and the chance to win fantastic door prizes and raffle items. Don’t forget to wear your white shirt to fully embrace the colorful powder fun—each current Yost student who registers by April 5 will receive a free event shirt! Join us for a day filled with laughter, community spirit, and plenty of colorful memories!

Last Year we had So Much FUN, we rallied ALL THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PTOS OF THE DUNELAND DISTRICT to host another COLOR RUN!!
NEW THIS YEAR:
Each school will register separately - This page is specifically for current YOST students/families.
The entire Park has been reserved for this Event which means more dedicated amount of Handicap Parking spots. We've invited more Food Trucks and adjusted many things to help create another Fun Filled event to celebrate our Amazing One of a Kind TROJAN Family.

11 AM - 12:30 PM: Races Scheduled, Please Check the Schedule for Details
11 AM - 2:30 PM: Bounce Houses, Face Painting, Hair Tinsel, Door Prizes/Raffle, Food Trucks, and FUN
RACE SCHEDULE:
11 AM - Principal and SRO RACE
11:15 AM - Sensory Race
11:30 AM - Kindergarten
11:45 AM - First Grade
12 PM - Second Grade
12:15 PM - Third Grade

EVENT SHIRTS: Each current Yost student will receive a FREE event shirt if registered by _APRIL 5._ Every Guest has an option to purchase an event shirt for $5 or choose to bring their own white shirt for the powdery fun.
TIPS: Powder gets EVERYWEAR ... LITERALLY EVERYWEAR. Please bring sunglasses, a face cover (bandana), a change of clothes or towels to sit on in your vehicle. More helpful tips will be shared as the event gets closer.
