Get ready for a vibrant and exciting day at the Yost Duneland Elementary Color Run 2025, taking place on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 10 AM to 2 PM at Sunset Hill in Valparaiso, Porter. This fun-filled event is designed to celebrate the amazing Yost Trojan family and promises to be an unforgettable experience for students and their families.
Join us for a day packed with colorful festivities, including races for each grade level, starting with the Principal and SRO Race at 11 AM and continuing with races for Kindergarten through Fourth Grade throughout the morning. Alongside the races, attendees can enjoy bounce houses, face painting, delicious food from a variety of food trucks, and exciting door prizes! Every current Yost student will receive a free event shirt if registered by April 5, while guests can either purchase an event shirt for just $5 or bring their own white shirt to join in on the powdery fun. Don’t forget to prepare for the colorful chaos—sunglasses and a change of clothes are strongly recommended! Last Year we had So Much FUN, we rallied ALL THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PTOS OF THE DUNELAND DISTRICT to host another COLOR RUN!!
NEW THIS YEAR:
Each school will register separately - This page is specifically for current YOST students and their families.
The entire Park has been reserved for this Event which means more dedicated amount of Handicap Parking spots. We've invited more Food Trucks and adjusted many things to help create another Fun Filled event to celebrate our Amazing One of a Kind TROJAN Family.

10 AM - 2 PM: Bounce Houses, Face Painting, Door Prizes/Raffle, Food Trucks, and more FUN
RACE SCHEDULE:

TIPS: Powder gets EVERYWHERE ... LITERALLY EVERYWHERE. Please bring sunglasses, a face cover (bandana), a change of clothes or towels to sit on in your vehicle. More helpful tips will be shared as the event gets closer.
