ABOUT: This run/walk showcases the beautiful Wabashiki Wetlands. The Turtle Trott is intended for smaller children, while the Kids 1-Mile Fun Run is for more experienced runners. All events are Free!!
1-Mile Boardwalk Fun Run/Walk: Starting at Dewey Point, kids will run down the boardwalk, making their way to Bicentennial Park. Be prepared to see many different birds, including eagles! After your run, check out all the Explore Wabashiki Events.
Kids Turtle Trott: This 1/4-mile run is open to K-5th Graders. Grab your parents or grandparents and race to the finish line. When you're finished, check out all the family-friendly events of Explore Wabashiki Day.

CLOSEDHosted by the Vigo County Coordinated Health Program, We are excited to bring everyone together to celebrate the Wabashiki Wetlands and enjoy the great outdoors. The walk will start at Dewey Point and go down to Bicentennial Park. The Boardwalk connects the city of West Terre Haute to Terre Haute and has the best views overlooking the Wabashiki Wetlands. -

CLOSEDHosted by the Wabashiki Turtle Rescue crew, join us for a Free Kids Turtle Trot open to all K-5th graders. This will be a 1/4 mile fun run on the newest trails in the Wabashiki Wetlands. There will be a check-in table at Bicentennial Park on Memorial Drive.
