Organiser's Description
Since 2014, Pink Lady Walk has organized an annual 5K event to raise awareness and funds for individuals diagnosed with breast cancer. Our mission is simple, to help alleviate some of the financial burdens caused by breast cancer. Since 2014, we have raised funds for 18 breast cancer survivors, one child with cancer, Hospice of Limestone County, AL, the Patient Assistance Fund at The Southern Cancer Center in Huntsville, AL, and the Joy to Life Foundation in Montgomery, AL. Economic depravity is an obstacle that often cannot be overcome. Pink Lady Walk has become a beacon of hope to those who are fighting breast cancer and find themselves in an economic quagmire. We want to continue to help these individuals! Pink Lady Walk requests monetary support from individuals, businesses, and organizations so that we can continue helping individuals and families affected by this dreadful disease.
