Get ready for a hopping good time at the 10th Antioch Rotary Club Bunny Hop 5K on Saturday, April 4, 2026! Taking place at the beautiful Antioch Community Park in Contra Costa, this family-friendly event kicks off at 9:00 A.M., the day before Easter. Participants can choose to race through the 5K course, which features a double loop of mixed terrain, or enjoy a leisurely run while embodying the spirit of the Tortoise or the Hare. Everyone who registers before midnight on March 14, 2026, will receive a guaranteed Bunny Hop T-shirt and a Finisher's Medal!
This exciting event not only promises fun and fitness but also includes a FREE pancake breakfast for all participants and guests, courtesy of the Rotary Club of The Delta. The race will feature timed results, with awards for the top finishers in various age groups, and a special Kids Kwik Dash and Easter Egg Hunt for the little ones. So mark your calendars and join the community for a fantastic day filled with camaraderie, competition, and celebration at the Antioch Bunny Hop 5K!

We would like to invite participants to run like the Hare or pace yourself steady to victory like the Tortoise. Participants will get a Finisher's Medal and are GUARANTEED A BUNNY HOP T-SHIRT IF YOU REGISTER BEFORE MIDNIGHT ON SATURDAY, MARCH 14, 2026. Registration will be open until Race Day. IMPORTANT NOTES:
(1) PACKET PICK UP WILL BE AT FLEET FEET SPORTS IN BRENTWOOD ON FRIDAY, APRIL 3RD FROM 3-7PM. ADDRESS IS 6061 LONE TREE WAY, BRENTWOOD. There will also be same-day Packet Pick-up on Saturday, April 4th from 7:15 - 8:25 a.m. Beat the confusion & crowds on Saturday by passing by FLEET FEET SPORTS on Friday! Your designated representative can pick up your Bib and Goody Bag if they have a copy of your Photo ID.
(2) THIS 5K FUN RUN IS A TIMED EVENT. WE WILL START AT 9:00A.M, ACCURATE TIMING IS PROVIDED BY THE E-TAG ATTACHED ON THE BACK OF YOUR RACE BIB - YOUR TIME STARTS WHEN YOU CROSS THE START LINE SENSOR AND YOU FINISH WHEN YOU CROSS THE FINISH LINE SENSOR. RACE TIMING WILL BE PROVIDED BY FORD TIMING.
All Finishers will receive a BunnyHop 5K Medal. First Place Overall in Men's & Women's will receive a plaque, and a $100 Gift Card.
Age Group Medals will go to the Top 3 in each of these Age Groups: 9 and under,
10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, & 70 and up.
AWARDS CEREMONY WILL TAKE PLACE AFTER THE KIDS KWIK DASH & EASTER EGG HUNT APPROXIMATELY 10:45AM
(3) The 5K Course is a double loop at Antioch Community Park on James Donlon Boulevard. The course will be on a mix of Concrete/Asphalt paths and Grass/Gravel. Because of this we do not recommend bringing strollers or wagons unless you are prepared to carry these over the uneven terrain.
(4) We love our furry friends too, but we do not advise that you bring dogs to this fun run for safety reasons.
(5) THIS RACE WILL HAPPEN RAIN OR SHINE!
(6) The Free Pancake Breakfast will be available to all runners and guests' courtesy of the Rotary Club of The Delta.
(8) Because of the size of the Event, we will not have a "Bag Drop"
(9) The KIDS KWIK DASH will take place near the Start/Finish Area at approximately 10:30AM. Please register your Child 5 years old and younger online to reserve one of 20 spots available.
(10) The Easter Egg Hunt will follow the Kids Kwik Dash
The Rotary Club of Antioch is a non-profit volunteer civic organization servicing the local community for over 75 years. Some of the projects include Girls Empowerment Project, Boys King Conference, Community Beautification, and Assisting Seniors in the Community with home repairs. The Bunny Hop 5k proceeds will directly go toward scholarships at the local high schools and financial support for Cheer & Band/Music Programs. The Start/Finish Line will be near the Festival Area - You will see plenty of directional signs. Start Time is 9:00am - you will take off and go uphill until you settle on a relatively flat asphalt/concrete path and grass/packed dirt track doing two loops for a Fun 5Km (3.1 miles)! This can be a Pre-Easter Fun Run for you, your friends, and your family! If you are competitive, this is a flat fast course! This event will go Rain or Shine! There will be water and snacks at the Finish Line along with a Fun Festival to greet you. Our Sponsors will have booths and will be giving out goodies for the runners! Please plan to arrive around 8:15am to be able to make it to the Start Line before 9:00am -
Bunny Hop Kid's Kwik Dash

Fun, Free Event for our Young Bunny Hoppers under 5 years of age. If you register your child before March 27, he/she will have a Custom-made Race Bib to wear for the Dash! This fun and fast race will be held near the Start/Finish Area at 10:30a.m. immediately before the Awards Ceremonies for the Antioch Bunny Hop 5K runners.
