Get ready for a hopping good time at the 10th Antioch Rotary Club Bunny Hop 5K, taking place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, in the beautiful Corteva Wetlands Preserve in Antioch, Contra Costa. This family-friendly event celebrates the spirit of Easter with a fun-filled 5K run that welcomes participants of all ages. Whether you choose to sprint like the Hare or take a leisurely pace like the Tortoise, everyone will enjoy the thrill of crossing the finish line. All finishers will receive a commemorative Bunny Hop medal, and those who register by March 14 will secure a special Bunny Hop T-shirt!
The day will kick off with a FREE pancake breakfast provided by the Rotary Club of the Delta, followed by the race starting at approximately 9:00 AM. The 5K course features scenic gravel and grass paths, making it a unique outdoor experience. After the race, stick around for the Kids Kwik Dash and the Easter Egg Hunt, both set to add even more excitement to the day. With awards for top finishers and age group winners, plus a vibrant community atmosphere, the Bunny Hop 5K is the perfect way to celebrate Easter weekend while supporting local scholarships and programs

It's Winter and we are less than 2 months away from Easter so the Easter Bunny is starting to train! We would like to invite participants to run like the Hare or pace yourself steady to victory like the Tortoise. Participants will get a Finisher's Medal and are GUARANTEED A BUNNY HOP T-SHIRT IF YOU REGISTER BEFORE MIDNIGHT ON SATURDAY, MARCH 14, 2026. Registration will be open until Race Day. Special Thanks to the ROTARY CLUB OF THE DELTA for preparing a FREE PANCAKE BREAKFAST for everyone on Race Day! IMPORTANT NOTES:
(1) PACKET PICK UP WILL BE AT FLEET FEET SPORTS IN BRENTWOOD ON FRIDAY, APRIL 3RD FROM 3-7PM. There will also be same-day Packet Pick-up on Saturday, April 4th from 7:15 - 8:25 a.m. Beat the confusion & crowds on Saturday by passing by Fleet Feet Sports on Friday!
(2) THIS 5K FUN RUN IS A TIMED EVENT. ACCURATE TIMING IS PROVIDED BY THE E-TAG ATTACHED ON THE BACK OF YOUR RACE BIB - YOUR TIME STARTS WHEN YOU CROSS THE START LINE SENSOR AND YOU FINISH WHEN YOU CROSS THE FINISH LINE SENSOR. RACE TIMING WILL BE PROVIDED BY FORD TIMING.
All Finishers will receive a BunnyHop 5K Medal. First Place Overall in Men's & Women's will receive a plaque, and a $100 Gift Card.
Age Group Medals will go to the Top 3 in each of these Age Groups: 9 and under,
10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, & 70 and up.
AWARDS CEREMONY WILL TAKE PLACE AFTER THE KIDS KWIK DASH & EASTER EGG HUNT APPROXIMATELY 11:10AM
(3) The 5K Course is entirely within Corteva Wetlands Preserve and the surface is mostly gravel and grass paths. Because of this we do not recommend bringing strollers or wagons unless you are prepared to carry these over some barriers and over the uneven terrain.
(4) We love our furry friends too, but we do not advise that you bring dogs to this fun run for safety reasons.
(5) THE BUNNY HOP START LINE IS ABOUT 3/4 MILE FROM THE ANTIOCH MARINA FESTIVAL/PARKING AREA - PLEASE PLAN ON A 2030-MINUTE NATURE WALK! PLAN ON ARRIVING AT THE ANTIOCH MARINA BY 8:00 A.M. - THERE WILL BE PLENTY OF PARKING AND PORTA POTTIES. START TIME WILL BE APPROXIMATELY 9:00AM
(6) THIS RACE WILL HAPPEN RAIN OR SHINE!
(7) FOR RUNNERS OF ANTIOCH UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT - PLEASE ARRIVE AT THE ANTIOCH MARINA BY 7:30AM TO PICK UP YOUR RACE BIBS AND GOODYBAGS - THERE WILL BE A SPECIAL AREA FOR AUSD-SPONSORED RUNNERS.
(8) Because of the size of the Event, we will not have a "Bag Drop"
(9) The KIDS KWIK DASH will take place at the Antioch Marina Parking Lot at approximately 10:30AM
(10) The Easter Egg Hunt will follow the Kids Kwik Dash

After a 3/4 mile warm-up hop (allow 20-30 minutes)from the Antioch Marina Parking Lot to the Start Line within the Corteva Agrisciences Wetlands, you will take off on a flat packed dirt/gravel track for a Fun 5Km (3.1 miles)! This can be a Pre-Easter Fun Run for you, your friends, and your family! If you are competitive, this is a flat fast course! This event will go Rain or Shine! There will be water and snacks at the Finish Line along with a Fun Festival to greet you at the Antioch Marina. Our Sponsors will have booths and will be giving out goodies for the runners! Please plan to arrive around 8:00am to be able to make it to the Start Line before 9:00am -
Bunny Hop Kid's Kwik Dash

Fun, Free Event for our Young Bunny Hoppers under 5 years of age. If you register your child before March 27, he/she will have a Custom-made Race Bib to wear for the Dash! This fun and fast race will be held at the Parking Lot of Antioch Marina at 10:30a.m. immediately before the Awards Ceremonies for the Antioch Bunny Hop 5K runners.
