Participants can choose from a thrilling 5K race starting at 10:30 AM, a 1 Mile Race at 10:00 AM, or the energetic Fun Run kicking off at 9:30 AM. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the school, funding enhancements like a Gaga pit and climbing tower for students to enjoy.

HEALTHY BODIES SUPPORT HEALTHY MINDS! GRAB YOUR RUNNING SHOES, FAMILY AND FRIENDS, AND PARTICIPATE IN AN INVIGORATING, SAFE, AND FAMILY FRIENDLY RUN IN THE LATIMER LANE SCHOOL DISTRICT. ALL PROCEEDS GO DIRECTLY BACK TO THE SCHOOL AND ITS STUDENTS AND PROVIDE ENHANCEMENTS TO THE LATIMER LANE PHYSICAL EDUCATION PROGRAM. PREVIOUS RACE PROCEEDS HAVE PURCHASED A GAGA PIT, SLEDS, A MAP FOR THE PRIMARY PLAYGROUND, A BASKETBALL HOOP, A CLIMBING TOWER, AND BALLS FOR EACH OF THE CLASSES (TO NAME A FEW).
AS A REMINDER TO THOSE PARTICIPATING, OUR RACE LARGELY FOCUSES ON PROMOTING HEALTHY HABITS FOR KIDS AND FAMILIES. THIS IS REFLECTED IN THE LARGE PORTION ON YOUNGER AGES WHO RECEIVE AWARDS UPON COMPLETION. THE RACE DIRECTOR CHOOSES AGE CATEGORIES TO REFLECT THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS PARTICIPATING. WHILE WE ENCOURAGE PARTICIPATION FROM THE LARGER COMMUNITY, PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND AS YOU REGISTER.

FUN RUN:
START TIME IS 9:30 (STARTING LOCATION TBA). CALLING ALL KIDS!! THE FUN RUN COURSE IS BACK, AND WE'VE GOT LOTS PLANNED THIS YEAR.
* All participants that register by 9/8/25 at 3pm will receive a t-shirt. There is an option to buy additional T-shirts during checkout process.
5K RACE:
START TIME IS 10:30 AT THE TOP OF THE HILL, AT THE INTERSECTION OF LATIMER LANE ROAD AND VALLEY VIEW ROAD. SAME COURSE AS LAST YEAR WHICH WILL BE CLEARLY MARKED.
* All participants that register by 9/8/2025 at 3pm will receive a t-shirt. There is an option to buy additional T-shirts during checkout process.
1 MILE RACE:
NOT QUITE READY TO RUN A 3.1? WE'VE GOT YOU COVERED WITH OUR NEW 1 MILE RUN! START TIME IS 10AM. THE 1 MILE COURSE WILL BE CLEARLY MARKED.
