The day kicks off bright and early with race day registration at 7:45 a.m., followed by the Turkey Trot 5K at 9:00 a.m. and the 1 Mile Fun Trot at 9:15 a.m. With an entry fee of just $25, participants can enjoy a fun-filled morning while making a meaningful impact. Barbour Community Health Association is excited to announce our 14th Annual Belington Wellness Center Turkey Trot 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at our Belington Wellness Center location.
As a reminder, we hold this event to help raise money for the Heart and Hand House, Inc. Food Pantry and the Belington Presbyterian Church's Thanksgiving Day meal program. Both charities provide much-needed support and food to those in our community that need a helping hand. 100% of all proceeds will go to both organizations and will be matched dollar for dollar by Barbour Community Health Association.
Our organization's mission is to give back to our community in any way we can. This event is special to us because it focuses on food insecurity within our own communities. All proceeds from this event are divided between the two organizations in Barbour County, which feeds around 400+ people every Thanksgiving Day at the church and countless others year-round through the food pantry at Heart and Hand House.
Join us as we gobble, gallop, and give thanks during this family-friendly event!
