Organiser's Description
"RUN FOR THE ROSES" is a 5K Run/Walk which is held annually in August at the Honesdale High School Track Complex off Terrace Street in Honesdale, PA. For this year only, the race begins in the Daniel J. O'Neill Sports Complex, winds through 5 kilometers around the sports complex, Lakeside Elementary School campus, along Lake Cadjaw, and finishes near the Honesdale High School track.
The 2024 race will take place on Saturday, August 24, 2024 (rain or shine). Race registration and packet pick up will take place from 7:15 to 8:15 a.m. Call to starting area is at 8:25 a.m. and the race and walk starting time is 8:30 a.m.
All proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity of Wayne County. Take a step in helping us complete another house for a deserving family in need!

Pre-registration: $20.00 Pre-Registration ensures participant will receive a T-Shirt. All Pre-Registration due: No later than Aug 15, 2024. Race day registration: Students $15, all others $25.00 (Family Discount) $5 for each Additional Family Member after first three. Awards: Trophies will be awarded to the first-place-overall male and female finishers. Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female Runners in designated age groups to include our 80+age group! -
