Join us for the 2024 Hawk Walk: Celebration of Recovery, a vibrant and inspiring event taking place on Saturday, September 21st, 2024, at Fort Harrison State Park in Indianapolis, Marion County. This self-timed 3K or 5K walk/run offers participants the chance to enjoy the beautiful Harrison Trace Trail, a scenic asphalt path perfect for walkers, joggers, and cyclists. As you traverse this tree-covered trail with its gently rolling hills, youโ€™ll be supporting a vital causeโ€”raising funds for The 24 Group, a nonprofit dedicated to educating the community about substance abuse and aiding young people in recovery.

Whether you choose to walk or run, you can register as an individual or form a team with family and friends. Children aged 6 and under can join the fun for free, while youth aged 7-15 and participants over 75 enjoy a discounted registration fee of just $25. Organiser's Description

Hawk Walk: Celebration of Recovery is a self-timed 3K or 5K walk/run held at Fort Harrison State Park in Indianapolis Indiana. The walk/run takes place on Harrison Trace Trail, an asphalt-surface trail for walkers, bicyclists and joggers that begins at the Delaware Lake picnic area and follows the rolling upland above Fall Creek. Expect some hills. Much of the trail is tree-covered.



Hawk Walk is the primary fundraiser for The 24 Group www.the24group.org [http://www.the24group.org], a nonprofit foundation that educates the public about the effects of substance abuse on families, and provides grants to local education, treatment and recovery organizations to help adolescents and young adults in early recovery. YOUR HELP IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN EVER!



You have the option to register as an individual or as part of a group/team with friends and family. Children 6 years and under do not have to register, registration fee for ages 7-15 and 75+ is discounted at $25; a $5.00 per person discount applies when registering 5 participants or more. IN ORDER TO GUARANTEE T-SHIRT SIZE SELECTION, PLEASE REGISTER BY TUESDAY 9/3/24. YOU WILL STILL BE ABLE TO SELECT T-SHIRT SIZE IF YOU REGISTER AFTER THAT DATE, BUT DUE TO OUR VENDOR'S PRODUCTION DEADLINES YOUR SIZE CANNOT BE GUARANTEED. Additional t-shirts will be available onsite while supplies last on the day of the event, but preferred size is not guaranteed.
