Join us for the exhilarating 2025 Patriot 5K-10K Run/Walk on Sunday, June 8, 2025, in the charming city of Rome, Oneida! This exciting event, hosted by the Roman Runners Club, honors the memory of US Army Air Corps Frank Fazekas and features chip timing for all participants. Runners can choose between two thrilling distances: the 5K and the 10K, both set to kick off at 9:00 AM from Orgill.
Participants will receive a race shirt if registered by May 21, 2024, and there will be an awards ceremony immediately following the race, recognizing the top finishers in various age categories for both male and female participants. Additionally, there will be special trophies for the overall male and female winners, as well as awards for the top active and veteran military participants. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking to walk 2 miles for fun, this event is part of the Route 20 Road Challenge and promises to be a memorable day filled with community spirit and celebration.
