All participants will receive a themed medal, and those under 5 will even take home a copy of this year's featured book. IF YOU GIVE A HUMAN A COOKIE, THEY WILL PROBABLY EAT IT. WHEN THEY EAT IT, THEY WILL PROBABLY FEEL GUILTY. BUT IF THEY DO THIS FUN-RUN THEY CAN HAVE THEIR COOKIES AND EAT IT TOO!
THIS FAMILY FRIENDLY RACE, ORIGINALLY INSPIRED BY LAURA NUMEROFF'S "IF YOU GIVE A MOUSE A COOKIE", WILL TICKLE YOUR TASTE BUDS AND BENEFIT THE WATERLOO LIBRARY & HISTORICAL SOCIETY. THIS YEAR WE WILL BE EATING CUPCAKES!
NEW! THIS YEAR WE ARE INTRODUCING A 5K TO OUR EVENT, BUT DON'T WORRY, YOU DON'T HAVE TO EAT THEM ALONG YOUR RUN. WE'LL HAVE SOME READY FOR WHEN YOU ARE DONE!
IF YOU ARE PARTICIPATING IN OUR ORIGINAL 1 MILE EVENT THERE WILL BE 4 CUPCAKES IN TOTAL SO BRING YOUR APPETITE AND RUNNING SHOES TO RACE 1 MILE AROUND THE LIBRARY AREA OF WATERLOO.
PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A BOOK OR CUPCAKE THEMED MEDAL AND REGISTRATIONS UNDER 5 WILL RECEIVE THEIR OWN COPY OF THIS YEARS BOOK.
