This year marks a special milestone as we celebrate the 55th anniversary of this cherished community event. The Turkey Trot features an exciting 5k Fun Run/Walk that's perfect for families and individuals alike, making it a fantastic way to kick off your Thanksgiving festivities.
In addition to the main event, we are thrilled to host a Kids Trot designed for children ages 2-10, ensuring everyone can join in on the fun! The Kids Trot will take place on a football field and will begin at 10:00 AM, with races organized by age group for a fair and enjoyable experience. Children will have the opportunity to complete various distances, from a single length of the football field for the youngest participants to four laps for the ultimate challenge. Don’t miss the chance to create lasting memories and foster community spirit at this vibrant Thanksgiving tradition!

This year marks a milestone, as our annual Turkey Trot celebrates its 55th year! Wed like to invite you to celebrate with us by participating in this years 5k Turkey Trot Fun Run/Walk!
This family friendly event wouldn't be complete without a Kids Trot! Our kids trot is fun for all ages 2-10! Our course is set up on a football field near the finish line. We provide different distances to match each age level's abilities. Our Kids trot will start promptly at 10:00 am. Each race heat will be based off age and will be announced. Here are the distances by age group:
All kids must report to the Football field by 9:45am. Each age group will be announced when to start their race. Races will go in this order:
3/4's 1 Length of Football Field
5/6's 1 Lap around Football Field
7/8's 2 Laps around Football Field
9/10's 2 Laps around Football Field
Ultimate Challenge is for any children of all ages to complete 4 laps around the field.
