Join us for the exhilarating 2025 Pace and Pedal Event on Saturday, May 17th, 2025, in the beautiful Black River Falls, Jackson! This exciting day features a thrilling duathlon, where participants will tackle a 4.6-mile run on scenic non-paved trails followed by a 10.3-mile bike ride on smooth, paved roads. Whether you're racing solo or teaming up with a friend, this event promises fun and competition for all fitness levels.
New this year, we’re introducing a Youth Category for racers aged 17 and under, complete with top finisher prizes! Everyone who completes the duathlon will receive a finisher's medal, and participants can also opt to purchase a commemorative t-shirt by April 24th. In addition to the duathlon, get ready for our colorful 5K Color Fun Run/Walk, perfect for all ages, and free for those 12 and under! Plus, kids can join the exciting Youth Color Run, a 1-mile paved course that guarantees a splash of color and a finisher's medal for every young participant. Don’t miss out on this fantastic day filled with fitness, fun, and community spirit!

NOTE: THE 4.6 MILE RUNNING PORTION OF THIS RACE IS ON A NON-PAVED TRAIL. THE 10.3 MILE BIKE COURSE WILL BE ON PAVED ROADS.
*Participants can register individually or as a two-person team (please register together if participating as a team).
*NEW FOR 2025 - Top Finisher prizes for our new Youth Category; ages 17 & Under!
*A bike helmet is REQUIRED during the biking portion of the race.
*For your safety, no earbuds/music will be allowed during the biking portion of the race.
*Finisher's medal for all individuals who complete the duathlon (including team).
*Participants can select to purchase a t-shirt when registered by April 24, 2025.
PACE AND PEDAL 5K COLOR FUN RUN/WALK
*Any age welcome to participate!
*FREE for participants age 12 and under! Only $10 for participants age 13 and up.
*Get ready to be sprinkled in color with the 5K Color Fun Run/Walk!
*Please note -- participants have the option of bypassing the color stations if they wish to stay color-free.
*Course is fully-paved and stroller-friendly. No pets please.
*No awards will be given. Self-timed, fun event.
*Participants can select to purchase a t-shirt when registered by April 24, 2025.

INCLEMENT WEATHER: Race officials may cancel, delay, or change the race in case of severe weather or other conditions. In the event of cancellation, no refunds will be issued. All events will take place rain or shine. If lightning occurs, times will be backed up in 1/2 hour increments, with cancellation after 2 hours.
