The day kicks off with a 5K race at 9:00 AM, followed by a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk at 9:15 AM, making it perfect for participants of all ages and abilities. This year, we're excited to reintroduce the Pup Run for both distances, so your furry friends can join the fun too! With professional timing and awards presented by age and gender, the 2025 Race for Equality promises to be an unforgettable experience. Together, let’s run for a more just and equitable community under the theme "Until Justice Just Is"!

YWCA Northeast Indiana's annual Race for Equality provides an opportunity for the community to come together in solidarity for equality for all. Building a more just and equitable community takes all of us, so YWCA wants to offer community members the opportunity to run the race against racism together. The 2025 Race for Equality theme is "Until Justice Just Is".
The 2025 Race for Equality will take place on Saturday, April 26th on Purdue Fort Wayne's campus with a 5K start time of 9:00 AM and a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk start time of 9:15 AM. We are also bringing back the Pup Run for both distances this year! The event is professionally timed and includes awards by age and gender.
