Kick off the New Year in style at the 2025 Race the Landing 5K New Year’s Day Pajama Run in beautiful Charleston on January 1st, 2025! This exciting event invites runners of all ages to don their favorite pajamas and hit the scenic course featuring stunning river and marsh views alongside majestic oaks. The race begins at 9:00 AM, but don’t miss the Kids Fun Run sponsored by Fleet Feet at 8:30 AM. Participants can enjoy delicious soup and cornbread after the race, making it a perfect way to celebrate the New Year with family and friends. Awards will be given to the top finishers in 5-year age groups, and in the spirit of recycling, participants are encouraged to wear shirts and awards from past races. Join us for a fun-filled day of running and community spirit, and start your year on a healthy note!
Organiser's Description
Start off the New Year on a "healthy step" with a 5K! We want to give back to you!!! Enjoy the spectacular river, marsh views and majestic oaks as you run. After the race, stay for soup and cornbread! (Hoppin John soup or Vegetable soup) Awards are 5 year age groups and 5 deep! We will be recycling shirts and awards from various races.
Wear your PJ's!!! A Great time for everyone!
Packet pickup begins race day at 7:30 AM and gates close at 8:30AM. Run starts at 9:00am! Kids fun run sponsored by Fleet Feet starts at 8:30am!
