Join us for the inspiring 2025 TXFallenPD Tribute Event on Saturday, October 18, 2025, in Highland Village, Denton! This uplifting community event honors the courageous Texas officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, particularly remembering Sgt. Dennis Oliver.
The event, held at the picturesque Doubletree Ranch Park, features a range of exciting activities including a 5K run, civilian bike Honor race, police bike Honor race, and a special kid ride with a cop. Not only will you participate in races that celebrate our heroes, but you'll also enjoy live music, delicious food, vendors, and fun yard games in a vibrant kid zone. Since its inception in 2008, the TXFallenPD Tribute Event has successfully raised over $500,000 for the Texas Police Chiefs Association's Fallen Officer Fund, and this year, we aim to raise an additional $50,000 to support the families of fallen officers. Supporting the TPCA Fallen Officer Fund in Honor of Sgt. Dennis Oliver
The TXFallenPD Tribute Event began in 2008 as a police bike race honoring the lives of Texas officers killed in the line of duty. Over the years it has grown into a community fundraising event benefiting the Texas Police Chiefs Association's Foundation which provides monetary assistance to the families of Texas officers killed in the line of duty. Honoring those that have died in the line of duty remains at the forefront of our event.

The 5K course is USATF certified and chip timed. It is mostly on level, paved sidewalks and streets along the Inland Trail System. Start/Finish will be at Doubletree Ranch Park. -
2025 TXFallenPD Citizen Honor Bike Race/Ride

The bike ride/race is chip timed and approximately 8.5 miles on the Inland Trail System. A portion of the course is on neighborhood streets. Start/Finish will be at Doubletree Ranch Park. -
2025 TXFallenPD First Responder Honor Bike Race/Ride (Certified/Retired)

This registration entry is designated for first responders only. You will be asked to provide your agency name during registration. This ride has traditionally been reserved for bike patrol officers. Now we are inviting any first responder that would like to ride with us. The First Responder bike ride/race is chip timed and approximately 8.5 miles on the Inland Trail System. Again, a portion of the course is on neighborhood streets. Start/Finish will be at Doubletree Ranch Park.
