Join us for the exciting 2026 Bunny Run 5k & Festival on Saturday, April 4th, in the vibrant city of Concord, Cabarrus! This fun-filled event promises a hopping good time for participants of all ages, featuring a 5k race and a delightful festival that runs from 9 AM to 11 AM. The festival is free and includes a variety of attractions such as face painting, inflatables, a balloon artist, a lively DJ/MC, delicious food trucks, arts and crafts, and even dancing with the Easter Bunny!
The races kick off at 8:30 AM with a Fun Run covering 1 mile, followed by the main 5k race at 9 AM, both starting on McCachern Blvd next to the Cabarrus County Parking Lot. Runners of all skill levels are encouraged to participate, with awards for the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as age group awards. This year, we’re introducing new divisions for masters and grandmasters, so be sure to register by March 13th to secure your exclusive event t-shirt! Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to enjoy fitness, fun, and community spirit at the Bunny Run!

Races will begin on McCachern Blvd beside the Cabarrus County Parking Lot. Awards given to top three overall male and female and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69,70-74, 75 and over. NEW FOR 2026: FIRST OVERALL MALE AND FEMALE MASTERS DIVISION (40+), GRAND MASTERS DIVISION (50+), SENIOR GRAND MASTERS (60+)
