Every day, our first responders stand on the front lines protecting, serving, healing, and answering the call when we need them most. In honor of National First Responders Day, we invite you to join our First Responders Virtual Race, a meaningful way to show gratitude and support for these heroes.

Choose your distance and complete your miles anywhere, anytime throughout 2026. Run or walk in honor of EMS, firefighters, nurses, dispatchers, police, and military members who sacrifice so much for our communities.

What is a Virtual Race?

A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track (or ev en at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. Running and walking on your own, or with friends! And your medal will be shipped directly to you. Complete a virtual 5Ks, 10K, half marathon and more!

For each of our virtual races, we choose a charity to donate a portion of each registration to. Weve already raised more than $1,00,000 for charities from races here at Virtual Run Events! Our goal is to continue to help different charities around the world.
