This 5K's course will be along the levee on River Road, across from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine located on Skip Bertman Drive. There will also be a separate 1 Mile Fun Run course available for anyone interested in running or walking a shorter distance. All participants are welcome to participate in BOTH events! All pets are welcome to attend this event, but we ask that you please make sure your pets are on a leash and work well with other people, pets, and children. *For the safety of all participants, we reserve the right to ask pet owners to leave if their pets do not meet the requirements previously stated above.* The email address you use to register for the event will be used to contact you regarding all official race updates. Race check-in will occur on Saturday, April 5th from 10AM to 2PM near the entrance of the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. If you cannot make the Saturday check-in times, you can check-in the morning of the race (Sunday, April 6th) starting at 6AM until race time at 8AM. We will be accepting registration right up until the start of the race. The race starts at 8AM on Sunday, April 6th. You will have until 12PM to complete the 5K, 1 Mile Fun Run, submit your pet's costume/trick contest submission(s), or submit your doorbuster prize entry (further details below).
