Get ready for an exhilarating day of fitness and fun at the 2026 Pace and Pedal Event on Saturday, May 16th, 2026, in the scenic Black River Falls, Jackson! This action-packed event features the thrilling Pace and Pedal Duathlon, which includes a challenging 4.6-mile run on a non-paved trail followed by a 10.3-mile bike ride on paved roads. Participants can register individually or join forces with a friend in a two-person team, and there are exciting prizes for top finishers in the new Youth Category for ages 17 and under!
But that's not all! Join in on the colorful festivities with the Pace and Pedal 5K Color Fun Run/Walk, open to all ages. It's a delightful experience for families, with free registration for participants aged 12 and under and only $10 for those 13 and older. Feel the joy as you run or walk through vibrant color stations—don’t worry, you can bypass them if you prefer to stay color-free! Kids can also participate in the Youth Color Run, a fun 1.0-mile paved course designed just for them. With finisher medals for all participants and T-shirt sales available until April 23

NOTE: THE 4.6 MILE RUNNING PORTION OF THIS RACE IS ON A NON-PAVED TRAIL. THE 10.3 MILE BIKE COURSE WILL BE ON PAVED ROADS.
*Participants can register individually or as a two-person team (please register together if participating as a team).
*Top Finisher prizes for our new Youth Category; ages 17 & Under!
*A bike helmet is REQUIRED during the biking portion of the race.
*For your safety, no earbuds/music will be allowed during the biking portion of the race.
*Finisher's medal for all individuals who complete the duathlon (including team).
*T-Shirts for sale with registration until April 23rd at 12am

*Any age welcome to participate!

*Course is fully-paved and stroller-friendly. No pets please.

INCLEMENT WEATHER: Race officials may cancel, delay, or change the race in case of severe weather or other conditions. In the event of cancellation, no refunds will be issued. All events will take place rain or shine. If lightning occurs, times will be backed up in 1/2 hour increments, with cancellation after 2 hours.
All proceeds to Jackson In Action www.jacksoninaction.org [http://www.jacksoninaction.org], Jackson County's Healthy Living Coalition.
