Organiser's Description

The Lauren McCluskey Foundations Race for Campus Safety is an annual, community-driven event dedicated to raising awareness and funds to improve how colleges respond to relationship violence and stalking. Inspired by Lauren McCluskeys life and legacy, the race brings together students, families, advocates, and campus communities in a shared commitment to systemic change. Participants of all ages run, walk, or volunteer to support the foundations mission of enhancing campus safety and accountability.

More than just a race, the event creates a space for learning, connection, and collective action. Attendees enjoy access to resources, educational booths, live entertainment, cheer squads, sports mascots, and fun activities like inflatable obstacle courses and yard games. Proceeds directly support the foundations work in research, advocacy, and programming to make campuses safer nationwide.

The 2026 Salt Lake City Race for Campus Safety will be held on October 31. Register early to take advantage of the early-bird rate for 2026! In 2025, we had over 800 participants come together as a community for our race and festival supporting awareness efforts for campus safety, and we can't wait to see you there in 2026. Choose from 1K, 5K, or 10K routes, meet and greet with mascots, and create or join a team!
