RUN. WALK. GIVE THANKS.

JOIN US FOR THE THANK A FARMER DASH 5K, 10K, AND FAMILY FUN WALK!

Every November, we gather to give thanks, and what better way to show gratitude than by supporting the hardworking farmers who make our Thanksgiving feasts possible?

LOCAL FARMERS ARE THE BACKBONE OF OUR COMMUNITIES. They grow fresh, nutritious food, preserve open space, protect soil and water resources, and keep our rural economies thriving. Yet despite these benefits, small farms in Indiana and Cambria counties are vanishing at an alarming rate.

The THANK A FARMER DASH is your opportunity to take action. Whether you run, walk, or stroll, youre helping us grow a more resilient future for local agriculture.

All proceeds benefit the Cambria/Indiana Farmer Fund at the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies. This fund provides small grants to support:

* Business planning for sustainable, profitable farming models
* Match funding for conservation-focused projects
* Implementation of best management practices on small farms
