Event summary
Participants can look forward to engaging in laser-run training, swimming sessions, and invigorating ninja warrior workouts, all led by experienced coaches. Fencing, available at the Bay Area Fencing Club for a $25 drop-in fee, will be offered on Saturday mornings, making it easy for athletes to build their skills. Training sessions are scheduled to kick off with fencing from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, followed by laser-run or swimming training from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and concluding with ninja training at 4:00 PM. The ninja warrior sessions, coached by four-time American Ninja Warrior competitor Earl Hooks, promise to enhance strength and agility, essential for conquering Modern Pentathlon challenges. 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm: Laser-Run Training at Raymond J. Fisher Middle School or Swimming Training at Los Gatos High School;
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm: Ninja Training at Black Urban Barn (148 E. Virginia St. #2; San Jose CA 95112).
The ninja warrior training at Black Urban Barn will be coached by Earl Hooks, four-time competitor on the American Ninja Warrior television show. Participants will receive group coaching from Earl, focusing on strength, flexibility, and other exercises that are needed to master the standard Modern Pentathlon obstacles.
