Join us for the 20th Annual Freedom Run on the Ranch, taking place on July 4th, 2026, in the picturesque Ladera Ranch, Orange! This beloved community event celebrates Independence Day with an exciting lineup of races, including a thrilling 10K, a fun 5K, and a spirited Firecracker 1K for kids. Not only will you enjoy a fantastic day of running, but you'll also have the opportunity to support local charities, as all race registration proceeds and sponsorships contribute to meaningful causes in our community.
Festivities kick off early, with race registration opening at 6:00 AM, followed by the 10K at 7:00 AM and the 5K at 8:30 AM. Don't miss the delicious pancake breakfast from local restaurants starting at 8:00 AM, and make sure the little ones are ready for the Kids 1K at 9:45 AM! This family-friendly event promises a day filled with fun, camaraderie, and community spirit, so lace up your running shoes and join us in making this Independence Day unforgettable! Remember, prices increase on June 22nd, so be sure to register early!

A Ladera Ranch tradition - The Freedom Run on the Ranch is happy to invite you to run in the kids Firecracker 1k or our 5k and 10k runs. The event provides our community the ability to support local charities through the race registration proceeds and sponsorship opportunities. We encourage all to enjoy this great opportunity to celebrate our national holiday and have a little fun while running the streets of your community. We will have several festivities to support the runners and non-participants at the event with a breakfast and sponsor vendor area during the morning event. Please help us celebrate the 4th of July festivities and raise awareness and much needed support to the charities. REMEMBER PRICE INCREASES ON JUNE 22ND. Also help support our charities by purchasing BREAKFAST FROM PARTICIPATING LOCAL RESTAURANTS. All proceeds benefit the charities.
