Event summary
Don't miss out on the festive atmosphere that includes a big breakfast for all participants, T-shirts and race medals for the first 400 entrants, and an awards ceremony to celebrate the achievements of our runners. Registration opens at 6:00 AM, with the 5K run/walk starting promptly at 7:30 AM. A fun 1-mile race for kids follows at 8:15 AM. Remember, roads close at 7:15 AM, so plan to arrive early! Gather your friends and family for a day of health, charity, and celebration at Rooney's 5K
Organiser's Description
Since 2008, we've raised over $269,576.84 for charities located throughout Palm Beach County. THIS YEAR'S CHARITIES ARE CONNECTIONS EDUCATION CENTER, PALM BEACH COUNTY - POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUE, POTENTIA ACADEMY, AND WESTGATE CRA. Don't miss an exciting morning with a little exercise on the roads of Historical Westgate CRA! Participants are chip-timed by Accuchip USA, Inc. Big Breakfast after the race for all who participate.
Rooney's 5K USATF Certificate FL19024TY effective 2/11/19 to 12/31/29.
Roads close at 7:15 AM, so please arrive before then. The Start and Finish line are located at PBKC.
NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED IN THE RACE! *T-SHIRTS AND RACE MEDALS FOR THE FIRST 400 WHO ENTER. NO REFUNDS ARE ISSUED FOR THIS RACE.
